POWER VU: ALL ABOUT POWERVU BROUGHT TO YOU BY YENUMTECH

What is power VU?

Power VU is a conditional access system for digital television, developed by scientific Atlanta.( Wikipedia). The word conditional access system simply entails that powerVU is a system that is used to protect content by requiring certain criteria to be met before granting access to this content. It is mostly used by cable companies to prevent viewing by unauthorized viewers.

Power Vu has different decoders that decode signals from certain satellite for cable distribution services. These decoders can be used just like the
FTA (free To Air) satellite receivers if properly configured. Power vu was considered much secured since it uses a complicated system to authorize each powervu receiver. Most powerVU users are professional cable or satellite companies, using the services and equipment for signal redistribution, because regular users cannot afford it.

Just like we decrypt BISS e.g. TV3 Ghana, PowerVu channels can be decrypted too using the supported decoder. Some decoders have an auto roll function i.e. they automatically update the powervu keys for the channels once they are changed. While some you need to manually input the keys just has we do with BISS key.

Some major advantages of power vu channels are:

• No internet connection is needed

• No freezing like most dongles e.g qsat, azsky, etc.

• No subscription or account is needed

• And it is not expensive to set up these days

Major Disadvantage of powerful channel is:

They key keys can change at any time without notice. For football lovers especially, a very important game can just be a minute away and you will open your power VU channel to watch only to discover that the key has been changed. But the goodnews is powerVu is becoming more popular and getting a working key is not that difficult you can always get it from me. Or you go for an auto roll decoder that automatically updates the keys whenever it is changed.

Power VU Decoders:

I won’t dwell much on this in this post I will be reviewing some of this decoders in subsequent post. But I will still list out some decoders that are powwerVU enabled.

1. Strong Srt 4922 (here you can only decrypt power VU channels by inputting it manually after you must have loaded the latest patch for it.)

2. AZplay( This decrypts power VU channels and champion tv as-well it is auto roll enabled no need to input the keys manually)

3. Qsat( it comes in two forms either the manually inputted patch or the auto roll patch. For manually inputted keys you can load the patch in to any model but for auto roll function you can only use either Q26g or Q28g Qsat decoders.)

4. Srt GsHD (it is an auto roll powerVU decoder that decrypts powerVU channels.\

POWERVU CHANNELS.

You can watch different and many channels that are encrypted with powerVU ranging from Movies, Sport,Entertainment, Music, Etc.

I will talk about MTN World Wide Channels only on this post:

MTN world Wide TV can be tracked on two different positions.

1. Nss20w
2. Nss57e

On Either position you are sure to get about 17 channels. Which are?

AFN SPORT, AFN NEWS, AFN PRIME ATLANTIC, AFN PRIME TELLY, PRIME US, SPORT 24 HD, SKY SPORT NEWS UK, SKY NEWS, CNBC US, BBC, FOX NEWS, FRANCE 24, MSNBC. Listed are the channels you can get on those positions.

To track these channels, you need:

1. A dish from 1.5m and above but in some regions 1.3 works and recently there is what is called conical scalar ring that can boost 1m dish to track mtn worldwide tv.

2. You also need a CBAND LNB.

3. And a compatible receiver.

To track thee channels from 

Nss20W use the tp below: 

4129 (R) 15405 and 4115 (L) 3680
And for Nss57WE you can use the TP below:
4247 (L) 9246

Tracking signals on Cband is quite different from ku. Ku band is a common type and in our strong decoder we don’t see anything live R or L in the polarization. But I will explain that to you. Here R stands for H and L stands for V like the normal Horizontal and Vertical Polarization on Most strong decoders.

Conclusion.

PowerVU is becoming stronger day by day and more channels and decoders are been released for this course. So I don’t see it going off for now but who can tell anything free doesn’t last. Also I recommend using a strong decoder when tracking these channels its more easier than other decoders e.g. 4922, 4669, 4940. But only strong srt4922 is best recommended for powerVU function. Also I suggest you get qualified hands to handle the installation for you a very good and certified installer.
