Useful Tips For Tracking Mtnworldwide Tv with 90cm and Above

The Channels on mtnworldwide tv are all powervu encrypted. And what is powervu? powervu is an encryption similar to biss, that is used to power encryption of satellite tv. And to unlock thee channels that are powervu enabled. You need to have a decoder that supports it. Not all decoders support powervu. And you need to put in the corresponding keys that will make it to be decrypted, note you don’t need a smartcard to unlock these said channels but keys inform of numbers and letters are inputted into the supported decoders to decrypt the channels.

This package uses cband and not ku band Lnb and this cband lnb is used in two phase, either you use what is called conical scalar ring or you don’t use it.

Now if you are using from 1.3m dish and above you don’t need a scalar ring but if you are using 1m dish and 90cm dish you need a scalar ring.

What is this scalar ring?

Scalar ring serves as a booster to the signal that will enable a smaller dish to work with the said channels. Also, as we all know, if you are using like 1m and 90cm dish you can not ordinarily fix your cband because the lnb holder would be too small for it so this conical scalar ring is built in such a way that you can use it as an holder for your cband lnb in 90cm and 1m dish and as well boost the signal. 

How to track?

For easy tracking you should firstly track the famous canalsat which is at nss22West, tracking this canal is very easy and simple to even a novice. After tracking canal you can now easily track mtnworldwide which is very close to canal at 20west.

To track canalsat you should use this Tp 10987 V 30000 its KU band Lnb after hitting green, you should loose the kuband LNB and fix the cband, if you are using 1m and 90cm you fix the scalar ring and the cband lnb and then you track the mtnworldwide with frequency 4128H/V 15405 Cband.

Remember you have to change and input the frequency from ku on canal to cband . and search for your signal.

Searching for signal: this is a very tricky sat but once you get use to it. It will be one of the easiest to track now from that canal after you have finished changing the ku lnb to cband you elevate you dish UP-DOWN, UP-DOWN. And if no signal you move the dish a little to the left, I said very little because it has to be minimal almost insignificant, and adjust the elevation again up down. Note when moving the dish to the left you should stand at the back of the dish because standing in front of the dish can hinder the signal from coming.

Why Is My Signal Not Coming?

If your signal is not coming forth then, it might be one of the reasons below

• You Cband LNB is inferior, using a fake cband lnb is big problem because you can spend the whole day and yet no signal. So when seeking for cband lnb I do recommend either Strong or Supermax lnb. They are well tested.

• Also it might be that you did not put the di-electric plate inside the cband. When you buy a cband it comes with a plate, which serves as the signal, without this plate you cant get mtnworldwide. So make sure the plate is inserted into the cband properly.

• Change of polorization Is another factor: so many will be wondering why change of polorization. now note this tracking any satellite that uses cband you can never be sure of the polorization, if you observed carefully i used H/V for the frequency i gave for mtnworldwide, this is because when you use a cband  especially the ones that require you use di-electric plate the polorization soely depends on the positioning of the plate. 

           many installers don't know this, looking at the cband you will see two rods if the plate passes in between the rods its H and if it passes outside the rod its V. but you never can be sure so when you are stock at one polorization and the signal is not forth coming then you need to change the polorization.

• Another factor is: You should make sure you dish pan is very ok, and not rusty or affected in someway or the other.

Then you can track successfully.

For those who have tracked this mtnworldwide but still faces some signal fluctuation, you can check out some little guide

1.  check if there are no web on the cband lnb and take you generator far from your dish
2. make sure your cband lnb is genuine 
3. check you di electric plate it might have fallen or shifted, and some times the di electric plate might be weak so you can change it by cutting a very thick glass like the one inside and fixing it to the cband as replacement for the di-electric plate.
4. finally check your cable connections make sure your cables are in good conditions and there are no bridges.
